MIAMI, FL – December 11, 2014 – (HISPANICIZE WIRE) – Global live concert leader Live Nation and Hispanicize 2015 are partnering to produce the official event’s closing night concert bash at South Beach’s Fillmore Miami Beach on Friday, March 20, 2015.
“We’re thrilled to launch a new and exciting tradition with Live Nation that will not only be a major musical highlight of Hispanicize for years to come but that seeks to also champion the cause of Latino indie music artists,” said Hispanicize Music Director, Vanessa James.
“Our partnership with Live Nation marks a major milestone for Hispanicize’s national music platform as we evolve to producing bigger music events that will be open to the entire city of Miami. Hispanicize attendees will have automatic access to VIP seats at this concert, but a small amount of general admission tickets will be available for purchase to the general public,” said Katherine Johnson, co-founder and Music Supervisor of Hispanicize 2015.
Announcements of confirmed headlining and indie music acts will begin to roll out in December. This year’s Hispanicize Event aims to cover all genres of music, from bachata, reggeaton and electro pop to rock en español, indie rock, salsa, tropical and Latin pop. Past performers of Hispanicize include: Sheila E., Si7te, Dayana Suarez, Carlos Vives, Los Rakas, Jesse and Joy, La Santa Cecilia, Spam Allstars, Elastic Bond, among others.
Hispanicize 2015 Music Festival Overview
The Hispanicize Closing Night Concert Bash is part of a multi-faceted Hispanicize Music Festival that consists of special Latin music events and concerts, awards and professional development sessions that will take place during Hispanicize Week 2015.
Led by co-directors Katherine Johnson and Vanessa James, the Hispanicize 2015 Music Festival is being put together by a committee comprised of EMMY Nominated TV Host, Pili Montilla; Latin Grammy Nominated Producer Mr. Pauer; Head of Latin Music Advertising + Int’l at Secret Road, Diana Beas; CEO of World Clique, Roberto Somoza; and Talent + Music Manager at Viacom International Media Networks/Tr3s, Gabriela Ortega.
